Hero Support (TM)
a vet-to-vet non-profit group

Hero Support is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to assist US Troops returning from active duty service in Iraq and Afghanistan who have suffered physical or mental injuries during their deployments.

Who are we?
A vet-to-vet assistance group, for veterans (men and women), by veterans and their families with the loving support of civilians.

We are funded 100% by donations!

We help secure medical treatment, locate and create counceling support groups for vets with PTSD, depression, distress, anger, prothetics.

What do we do? We sponsor sports challanges and recreational activities in California.  We focus on athletic and mental support in a peer-group evironment. The transition to rewarding post-combat lives is our goal!

A 2007 Pentegon survey showed 38% of all troops reported suffering PTSD, (31% Marines, 49% Army National Guard, 43% Marine Reservists)! Many soldiers do not report syptoms for fear of retribution in the current military culture. Many Female vets do not have any local outlet or help groups dedicated to them at all! We will change that...

We are not a religious group and are not for profit. All staff and volunteers are unpaid. Our goal is to be your community, your friends and associates, off the battlefield and beyond...

Please join us today.

We are always looking for new vet and civilian members & volunteers !

Membership is free!

We appreciate Your Donations!
